Hello all
All status quo with the club, the AGM was yesterday and following a vote myself, Alan and Tim remain in the same posts.
Our club fiances are in excellent shape with about £1500 in show account, whilst the normal club account is in the black by some 450ish. I have given the thought to some of the activity's for the forthcoming year and after some period I have up with one or two things to do. These being a trip to Pendon railway museum on a club night followed by a visit to the local pub. Next a club visit to Bovingdon tank museum on there Tank Fest day over the weekend of 29/30 June. I have also been thinking about a BBQ at my house in early to mid June, only after permission of mine frau.  Some other ideas that came from our members, are that could we have a couple of kit swaps a year, which we have one a year at the moment. Another thought came from somebody else and that is again a couple of hints and tips nights.

One thing to note we have been moved out of our normal room and upstairs for the following nights 30  April, 28 May, 25 June.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all.

I have included all of the dates for the whole year, but their is no detail attached to 3/4 off it yet.  I will only be doing that at three month intervals, as things have developed over the past couple of years outside my control and therefore making the 6 monthly printed diary's useless. Please note, I will only be printing off limited copies of the diary for those people who do not have a computer.

Club update from the Nationals
We have a winner or two?
Our club entry for the competition has given Lawrance a gold well done.

Plus Andy's son managed a medal as well and at only 5 years old ???????????????????
Watch out the rest of us !

Hello all
This is just a quick update just before the Nationals. Hope everybody manages to come to the largest model show in the world. I have one or two new ideas for next years events. First is that I will only be doing the diary for three months at a time, as things have been developing quickly during the past two years quickly at times and I fell that you all will get a better flow of information. Second I have a couple of different activities for us to try out, these being a visit to our neighbour club of Newbury on one of their club nights, also a trip to Pendon model railway museum for a couple of hours look around and see the operation of there model railways on one of our club nights instead of meeting in Abingdon, this may in addition to a light meal on same night?
More details to follow, when I have spoken to all conserned and hopefully taken everything in to consideration.

In addition to the above, I am not going to print off as many copies of the diary from now on, as most of you can have a look at this site for the updated version, therefore saving printing costs and the environment and you can not loose this information on the blog easily?

And lastly the template for the show labels is coming along very well indeed with a great credit going to Kiran for his input.

A big Thank you to all who attended our show on the 6th Oct, it seems to be very well received indeed. I personally must say thank you to all the club member's who helped out on the day. Pictures will be along soon, well in the next couple of days at least.
